The USA offers two types of student visas – F1 (for academic studies) and M1 (for vocational training). Both require admission into a SEVP-approved institution and are non-immigrant visas intended for full-time study in the US.

Eligibility Criteria
- Unconditional admission to a SEVP-approved school

Application Process
- Apply and get accepted into a SEVP-approved school
- Receive Form I-20 from the school
- Pay SEVIS fee (USD $350 for F1)
- Complete DS-160 form online
- Book US embassy/consulate appointment
- Attend biometric and visa interview
